Additional liability insurance: Car companies have to provide minimum liability insurance and this is included in your lease. This will be the basic level that does not give you enough coverage in case you are involved in an accident. You can buy additional insurance from the rental company cars. Generally, your own personal car insurance policy usually provides coverage you need when you rent a car. Your credit card will not offer this protection.

Collision Insurance: Covers damage to a rental car, and is involved in an accident or theft. Many of the Gold or Platinum card, the bank offers this coverage, but varies from paper ballots. You have to get a credit card.
